The wide table blocks are the hallmark of the Bondt table family, on which the thin, solid table top with finely bevelled edges on the underside balances. The wide planks create an exciting contrast to the delicate table top. The solid wood table Bondt stands out without dominating and adapts to different environments, e.g. in your study or dining room.

Colour stain

Staining allows the natural structure of the wood to remain visible. This was particularly important for ZEITRAUM, as the furniture pieces are unique due to the natural grain and colour play of the wood. The typical semi-transparent look of the colour stain preserves this. ZEITRAUM puts a lot of effort into the surface treatment, which requires artisanal skill and cannot be applied automatically. Many individual steps of sanding, wetting, drying, staining and re-drying lead to the perfect end result, which is extremely durable. The microstructure of the wood is grainy, which makes the stained wood appear naturally matt and capable of patination despite its colour.
