Zenso Chair
Zenso Chair
Zeitraum Zenso Chair by Green Living made in Germany
The designer duo Formstelle has developed ZENSO, a chair family with a sculptural character. The chair family was actually supposed to be called "Enso". The round circles follow the motif of Ensō, a symbol in Japanese calligraphy: although Ensō is a symbol and not a letter, it is one of the most common drawings in Japanese calligraphy. It symbolizes enlightenment and elegance, the universe and emptiness, but also symbolizes Japanese aesthetics itself. As an "expression of the moment."
The expressive wooden frame holds two floating circles, the seat shell and the backrest. The frame is made of solid wood, the seat and back shell are made of molded wood and are optionally upholstered (not included in the scope of delivery - please inquire, as there are many fabrics that we would be happy to send as samples after consultation).
The seat upholstery is always fully upholstered, and the back shell has an attached cushion. ZENSO is available with a wooden seat and back shell, with an upholstered seat and back shell, or with a seat cushion and a wooden back shell.
Please inquire about the upholstered version - there are countless fabrics, we are happy to advise and send samples! Contact
