This sideboard is one of our absolute favorites. Whenever we plan furnishings, the question of good-looking storage always comes up. Side is often the first choice for this. Its design language is rather understated, but on closer inspection, one notices the beautiful details and the elegant, velvety soft surface. There are many out there who have adopted this design: but in solid wood and with these wonderful handle strips and drawers, we know no one. The ecological balance is documented: take a look at the graphic in the pictures. We would actually like to see that from all manufacturers.

The sideboard program is based on the 'Modulor' system of proportions developed by Le Corbusier. The proportion and arrangement of the drawers, doors, and flaps deliberately avoid the rigidity of symmetry and yet appear balanced in their asymmetrical arrangement.

The new Atelier underframe variant for the sideboards proves how much a detail can change a piece of furniture. The 25 cm high, trestle-like construction was developed for LOW, PODEST and SIDE. The new legs give the furniture a contemporary, handcrafted look. And they offer a higher alternative to the previous variants.
