SIDE Sideboard No, not everything was better in the past—but some things certainly were.

Furniture used to be a significant purchase and was often passed down. Certainly not simply thrown away after a few years. It was industry and marketing that tried to teach us that furniture is subject to fleeting trends and that it therefore makes no sense to build furniture elaborately with valuable materials—and, of course, not to pay much for it.

We absolutely do not share this view. If furniture is built with the high quality and timelessness of Zeitraum's KIN series, then these marketing slogans do not apply. Then we are talking about sustainability in the best sense, about longevity and a low CO2 footprint. Then you will enjoy it for many years, and it is worth paying this high price because it spreads out over decades. There is a whole family of beautiful carcass furniture. Made in Germany.

This furniture is made from solid wood! No layered panels, certainly no chipboard or MDF.

The sideboard program is based on the 'Modulor' system of proportions developed by Le Corbusier. The proportion and arrangement of drawers, doors, and flaps deliberately avoid the rigidity of symmetry and yet appear balanced in their asymmetrical arrangement.
