With its connectable modular system, RAIL offers a table program for offices, studios, or agencies, whose components create structures in the room. The apronless table tops and freely movable trestles define its open studio character.

Easily and uncomplicatedly extendable, RAIL enables flexible room concepts and offers functional, individually configurable workstations. The light, studio-like appeal of RAIL can also be transferred to the living area: with a few simple steps, the conference table becomes the large dining table at home.

Whether interconnected conference tables, large combined double tables or high tables for project work - RAIL responds uncomplicatedly to the versatile demands and needs in the working world and is always open to changes.

Careful material selection and almost perfect workmanship - this is what the German brand Zeitraum is known for. Just look at the small detail of the mounting latches under the tabletop!

Due to the large selection of sizes, you can use this table for almost any requirement.

Colored Stain

With stains, the natural structure of the wood remains visible. This was particularly important to ZEITRAUM, as the furniture pieces are unique due to the natural grain and color play of the wood. The typical semi-transparent look of the colored stain ensures that this remains preserved. ZEITRAUM puts a lot of effort into the surface treatment, which requires artisanal skill and cannot be applied automatically. Many individual steps of sanding, wetting, drying, staining, and drying again lead to the perfect end result, which is extremely durable. The microstructure of the wood is grainy, making the stained wood appear naturally matte and capable of developing a patina despite its coloring.

ZEITRAUM developed the color palette in collaboration with the design studio Formstelle. Nature served as a model for the gray nuances, more precisely, the weather-related graying stages of wood. The vibrant accent colors are used specifically to create contrasts.

Linoleum: Birch multiplex table top with linoleum coating,
underside counter-pull paper, linoleum is climate-positive, made from predominantly natural materials, and has a warm, soft feel.
