Solid wood table Rail by Zeitraum by Green Living made in Germany

RAIL – a table with a casual studio character. The apron-free top makes the table appear light and uncomplicated. The construction of the movable trestles is visible. The table can optionally be extended on both long sides with an extension leaf. The trestles are then pushed centrally under the joint and thus support the extension leaf. The careful selection of materials and almost perfect craftsmanship - this is what the German brand Zeitraum is known for. Just look at the small detail of the fastening bolts under the top!

Thanks to the large selection of dimensions, you can use this table for almost any requirement.

Color Stain

With stains, the natural structure of the wood remains visible. This was particularly important for ZEITRAUM, because the furniture pieces are unique due to the natural grain and color play of the wood. The typical semi-transparent look of the color stain preserves this. ZEITRAUM invests a lot of effort in surface treatment, which requires artisanal finesse and cannot be applied automatically. Many individual steps of sanding, wetting, drying, staining and re-drying lead to the perfect final result, which is extremely durable. The microstructure of the wood is granular, which makes the stained wood appear naturally matte and capable of developing a patina despite its coloring.

ZEITRAUM developed the color palette in collaboration with the design studio Formstelle. Nature served as the model for the gray nuances, more precisely, the weather-related graying stages of wood. The colorful accent colors create targeted contrasts.

Linoleum: Tabletop birch multiplex with linoleum coating,
Bottom side balance paper, linoleum is climate-positive, made from predominantly natural materials and has a warm, soft feel.
