Furniture used to be a significant acquisition, often passed down through generations. Certainly not simply thrown away after a few years. It was industry and marketing that tried to convince us that furniture was subject to short-lived trends, and therefore it made no sense to build furniture elaborately with valuable materials—and, of course, not to pay much for it.

We absolutely do not subscribe to this view. When furniture is built with such high quality and timelessness as Zeitraum does with its KIN series, these marketing slogans don't apply. Then we're talking about sustainability in the best sense, about longevity and a low CO2 footprint. Then you will enjoy it for many years, and it is worth paying the high price because it spreads out over decades. There is a whole family of beautiful cabinet furniture, made in Germany.

These pieces of furniture are built from solid wood! No layered panels, certainly no chipboard or MDF.

KIN is a family of uniquely designed storage formats that create space for the necessities of life, regardless of their specific use. The proportion of each format offers just enough space to be used in as many living situations as possible. If the living environment or needs change, KIN allows flexibility. Individual elements can take on different tasks over time and find their place in various areas of living and working. Note: for a small extra charge, you can get a continuous wood grain on the front. This means that a large front is manufactured in the workshop, from which the individual fronts are then cut—for a perfect overall appearance.
