The Simple Hi bed with a straight-lined solid wood headboard couldn't be simpler or more beautiful. The lightness of the construction is enhanced in the Simple beds by the floating frame. The design concept by Formstelle focuses on the bed in its simplest form and function.

When it comes to sustainability, many brands also forget to create a timeless design. Zeitraum as a brand always manages to do this, so it's hard to tell how old the design is - ideally, it's simply valid for a very long time. So there's no design reason to replace the bed because of fashion trends. And certainly not for quality reasons.

Color Stain

With stains, the natural structure of the wood remains visible. This was particularly important for ZEITRAUM, as the furniture pieces are unique due to the natural grain and color play of the wood. The typical semi-transparent appearance of the color stain preserves this. ZEITRAUM invests a lot of effort in surface treatment, which requires artisanal skill and cannot be applied automatically. Many individual steps of sanding, wetting, drying, staining, and re-drying lead to the perfect end result, which is extremely durable. The microstructure of the wood is grainy, making the stained wood appear naturally matte and capable of developing a patina despite its coloring.

Construction

The bed is available in solid wood treated with natural oils and waxes in walnut, oak, or beech, or in stained oak. The surface has been perfectly finished down to the last detail and then finely sanded. Simple comes with support rails that can be mounted 10, 12, or 14 cm below the top edge of the bed frame.

• Width: 100 – 200 cm
• Length: 200 – 220 cm (for extra length up to 220cm please add 10% to the price!) - the correct calculation will follow in our order confirmation
• Bedside height: 32 cm
• Headboard height: 67 cm or 79 cm
• Support rail: can be mounted 10, 12, or 14 cm below the top edge of the bed frame
• for the higher version (bed frame and feet each raised by 4cm, we charge a 12% surcharge!)
