Grand Mellow is a variation of the Mellow bed. It was specially developed for tall mattresses (approx. 15 - 25 cm). Light, effortless, comfortable and casual - these are the attributes that give this bed its name. Slim material thicknesses, fine lines and a delicate frame characterize this bed. Nevertheless, the bed is so cleverly constructed and carefully crafted that stability is guaranteed.

A sophisticated detail that does not draw attention to itself, but further enhances its character, is the lacing with core leather straps in the headboard. It provides the necessary support for the soft back cushions.

The Grand Mellow bed initially comes without upholstered cushions, slatted frame and mattress. The matching upholstered cushions for the headboard are available from us with a selection of popular fabric and leather covers. If your desired color is not available, simply contact us. As a suitable slatted frame, we recommend, for example, the Classico Medio, suitable mattresses could be the natural latex mattress Classico PiuMa Lana or the 7-zone natural latex mattress Ergo-Zone.

Colored stain

With stains, the natural structure of the wood remains visible. This was particularly important for ZEITRAUM, as the furniture is unique due to the natural grain and color play of the wood. The typical semi-transparent appearance of the colored stain ensures that this remains. ZEITRAUM puts a lot of effort into the surface treatment, which requires manual skill and cannot be applied automatically. Many individual steps of sanding, wetting, drying, staining and re-drying lead to the perfect end result, which is extremely durable. The microstructure of the wood is grainy, which makes the stained wood appear naturally matt and capable of developing a patina despite its coloring.

Tip

Choose the matching upholstered cushions for your Grand Mellow bed right away: optionally with fabric or leather cover in many beautiful colors. This bed is also available in a slimmer version as the Mellow bed (incl. slatted frame). This has a shallower insertion depth for a recommended mattress height of 12 - 15 cm.

Special features
