An extraordinary dining table, whose elaborate craftsmanship is literally visible. It is neither oval nor rectangular - we have included a sketch with the pictures that clearly shows the soft yet geometric shape of the table!
KUYU DINE - polished diamonds of solid wood. Inspired and abstracted from African masks, precisely shaped table legs have been created.
They archaically shoulder the tabletop. The polished diamonds of solid wood appear sculpturally powerful and at the same time seemingly floating. You can choose from three tabletop shapes: circle, rectangle, and convex rectangle.
Color Stain
With stains, the natural structure of the wood remains visible. This was particularly important to ZEITRAUM, as the furniture is unique due to the natural grain and color play of the wood. The typical semi-transparent appearance of the color stain preserves this. ZEITRAUM puts a lot of effort into surface treatment, which requires artisanal skill and cannot be applied automatically. Many individual steps of sanding, wetting, drying, staining, and re-drying lead to the perfect end result, which is extremely durable. The microstructure of the wood is grainy, which makes the stained wood appear naturally matte and capable of developing a patina despite its coloring.
