Berlin Guide Refers to Green Living

close contacts with suppliers - that's what Green Living guarantees

More and more journalists are interested in the concept. Some are surprised that, despite the success of organic food stores, many people don't see the importance of home furnishings?! Yet we "consume" many thousands of liters of air every day in our homes. It would be good if that air had few pollutants. That's part of the Green Living concept!

nice post that goes into a bit more detail

Here you will find an interview with our interior designer, who often plans the more complex projects for us. She speaks of an attitude towards things, rather than just seeing a marketing concept.

The consulting is still excellent, but unfortunately, we no longer have the showroom in Prenzlauer Berg – the rents would have "spoiled" the prices too much.

Green Living and Beautiful Homes

schöner Wohnen reports on us

while we wouldn't hope that customers buy from us just for a clear conscience, if it helps the environment...most customers buy because it's simply good furniture and top quality ;)

Green Living in a Specific Project

Here we support the "Orchestra of Change" - an initiative with musicians from the Staatskapelle. The proceeds from the concert went to a specific rewilding project. We then sold the beautiful office chairs and donated a portion of the proceeds.

the showroom in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg

yes, we are a little sad to have to give up the showroom, but Berlin is growing - especially the rents!

Green Living in "Wohnidee"

At that time, it was quite unusual for furniture retailers to ask (and answer) questions about the environment. Some magazines noted with surprise that "you can't even tell" from the furniture itself.

Family Home

Especially with children and their living environment, it seems urgently necessary to double-check
materials and their emissions. Many think: "Surely everything is regulated
in Western Europe?"—that's only partly true. Many
furniture containing pollutants can be imported and can be found on the cheap
furniture market in Germany. There is still no ban on
formaldehyde in furniture—that is long overdue; because this substance is
carcinogenic! That's why we at Green Living carefully check all suppliers and their
products.

Green Living in "House with a Future"

Even before 2015, people were thinking about what the building of the future
should look like. But here, the question was posed again. Energy-efficient and
of course environmentally friendly. Usually, the focus was on building materials--but
what materials did homeowners then bring into their living spaces?
Synthetic fibers and plastic imitations (laminate instead of wood)? The price advantage will
already be relativized after 10 years when it's realized that
renovation is already necessary. We advocate for materials that age "with
dignity." All natural materials can do this.

Green Living in "Living at Home"

Here we were asked about the product range and what makes it special. Supply chains were not much discussed 10 years ago - but they were with us.
