We are also proud of what we don't have!
Every week, we are approached by designers, manufacturers, and sales representatives. New products come onto the market every day. The decision at regular furniture stores is usually based on just one question: can the product be sold well?

At Green Living, however, a transparent and comprehensive process begins:
If the initial review of materials, craftsmanship, and design is positive, the supplier is informed of our basic requirements. Presumably, each of you would consider these basic requirements to be self-evident – and yet only about 30% of suppliers can confirm them. This is due to the sometimes highly fragmented sub-supplier structure, which makes control impossible for some.
The basic requirements include things like: "the articles comply with the applicable legal regulations" and "we ensure that no materials are used that are made from plants or animals of endangered species (IUCN Red List)" or "we ensure that our products are free of phthalates and PVC/chlorinated plastics" and "are produced without child labor and forced labor."

Approximately one-third can confirm this and proceed to the next round, which focuses specifically on the products offered.
The selection aims to evaluate ecological, health, and ethical criteria as comprehensively as possible.

In the end, only about 1% of the offers actually make it into our assortment.
You and your family, our Earth, and all other living beings benefit from this.
