Veneer Lamps by LZF: A Passion for the Material

The history of the Spanish lighting manufacturer LZF began in 1993. The artist Marivi Calvo turned her back on New York and returned to her home country, Spain. There she met the Australian musician Sandro Tothill and joined forces with him to form an extraordinary creative team. Both share an untamed passion for shapes and colours, for art and the joy of experimenting. This quickly found its way into LZF's unusual veneer wood luminaires.

Green Living and LZF

It was clear that Green Living would be equally enthusiastic about LZF's veneer wood luminaires. Because wood is also a natural part of the design process for the Spanish lighting manufacturer. All veneers used are FSC-certified, thus guaranteeing their origin from sustainable forestry.

High standards for design

The special feature of LZF luminaires lies not only in their materiality, but also in their demanding design and craftsmanship. From the shape of the individual models to photo shoots and selected collaborations with artists, the makers of LZF always have a keen sense of design and aesthetics. Numerous design awards, including the German Design Award and Red Dot Design Award, confirm the high standards of the Spanish company.
