Brunner Group - Quality Made in Germany
We at Green Living have always considered it important to check supply chains and see where the furniture we offer you comes from. The best way to do this is to simply go there and see for yourself. We recently did just that, travelling to Rheinau in Baden, right on the French border, to visit our partner Brunner.
Nowadays, cost optimization seems to be the main goal for many furniture manufacturers. Quality, sustainability, and longevity then seem to come second. Brunner is a true family business (family-owned), which brings with it several things:
-Long-term thinking instead of short-term optimization for shareholders; this involves products that are carefully developed with aspects such as durability, reparability, and safety in mind. It's about employee retention through a truly exemplary environment—that motivates and was evident through the consistently good mood of the people we were able to meet ;); product quality is completely in focus, and increasingly also sustainability—so it fits with Green Living
-Genuine partnerships: they respond to customers and work on solutions that directly benefit the customers: so, if you ever need special solutions or adaptations for your office projects, just ask—with Brunner as a partner, we have many possibilities.
-Production entirely in Germany: we are currently experiencing what it means when the complexity of supply chains becomes a problem. Important deadlines, over which one has no control, can be affected. Quality also needs to be controlled. For Brunner, it is a location advantage to have everything under control immediately in one place.
-Regarding the products: we were surprised that Brunner offers so many solutions that look so extremely high-quality and function perfectly in home offices or even living areas or hotel lobbies. Also, more and more upholstered furniture (see the pictures). Details like seam guidance or simply precise screw connections are right; you can tell we are full of praise, and rightly so!
